Publishing Checklist

Use this checklist before selecting Publish.

Required for a snapshot

• [ ] World name is present.
• [ ] Codex contains at least five entities.
• [ ] At least one Character is marked Main Character.
• [ ] Every Main Character has a starting scene.
• [ ] Every Main Character starting scene has at least one player choice.
• [ ] Every Character has an image.
• [ ] Gallery contains at least one image.
• [ ] Pending editor changes are saved.

Additional public requirements

• [ ] Cover uses an image.
• [ ] Discover banner uses an image.
• [ ] World map has an image.
• [ ] At least five distinct entities are placed on the map.
• [ ] Public landing page contains at least 200 chars.
• [ ] Story Description contains at least 50 chars. The app currently displays this check as "Backstory".
• [ ] At least one discovery category is selected.
• [ ] Custom URL, if provided, contains 3-60 lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.

Content review

• [ ] World Phase graph has one entry and valid forward links.
• [ ] Ending phases have no outgoing links.
• [ ] IDs referenced by relations and phases still exist.
• [ ] Main Character details match their starting scenes.
• [ ] Public fields do not reveal Secret Infos or Hidden Truths.
• [ ] Images and text comply with the publish moderation policy.

Cost reminder

Public publishing currently costs 200 credits for moderation review. The credit charge applies even if the review rejects the build.
