World Helper
World Helper is the AI assistant in the right side of the World Editor. It works on your Codex without taking the world away from you.
Give it a bounded task and the relevant context. It returns structured proposals you can inspect, apply, revert, or repair.
Useful tasks
World Helper can help you:
- Explain or summarize the current world.
- Add or refine an entity.
- Create precise relationships.
- Define stats and abilities.
- Write a starting scene.
- Review inconsistencies and gaps.
- Prepare a publishing checklist.
- Place characters on the world map.
- Plan a World Phase graph.
Attach context
Select or attach the entity you want changed. For world-wide work, attach the World Profile. Keep the request focused so the resulting proposal is easy to review.
Request concrete output
Weak request:
Make my character better.
Stronger request:
Give this character a one-line brief, a stable appearance description, and one long-term goal that conflicts with the faction they serve. Preserve their existing name and backstory.
Name fields that must be preserved and explain the intended consequence of the change.
Review before continuing
Read the proposed changes and verify:
- Existing authored content was not replaced unexpectedly.
- IDs and relation directions remain correct.
- New stats and gauges exist in Gameplay Properties.
- Secret information did not move into public fields.
- Phase edges and ending rules remain valid.
Apply the proposal when it is correct. Use Revert if the applied edit should be undone.
Work in small passes
Large changes are easier to control when split into premise, entities, relations, gameplay, and phases. Confirm one coherent chunk before asking for the next.
For larger premise or phase tasks, use Premise Architect or Phase Architect.
